| Commissioned by the City of Somerville and the Somerville Arts Council Funded by the John and Abigail Adams Arts Program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Formed steel footprints of different shapes and sizes are welded to steel cylinders, alluding to those who have traversed the square each day for hundreds of years. Footprints are brushed with a darker finish to accentuate their floating quality. |
